With a priority to mitigate conflicts between neighborhoods and watercourses, East Gallatin Watershed Trust (EGWT) focuses on the watercourses of the East Gallatin watershed—from their headwaters in the Gallatin and Bridger Mountains, through their largely urbanized flows in and around Bozeman, Montana, to their coalescence into the East Gallatin River and its confluence with the West Gallatin River near Manhattan, Montana. As such, EGWK strategically complements many organizations that support and improve the greater Gallatin watershed.
